Eagle Transport Recognizes Increased Preventative Maintenance Compliance

Eagle Transport Corporation Fleet Maintenance manages over 500 units across more than 20 locations, focusing on consistently raising our Preventative Maintenance Compliance (PMC).

We have seen a recent bump in our company-wide PMC, which has topped 80% a few times while routinely staying in the high 70% range. This results from a lot of hard work by all our shops, but a few are high performers week in and week out.

Our Fleet Maintenance teams in Richmond, VA; Chesapeake, VA; Selma, NC; Dalton, GA; and Salisbury, MD routinely maintain PMC in the high 90% range.

Teams in Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; and Spartanburg, SC, struggled over the past few months due to staffing issues. Now that these shops are fully staffed, they have begun regularly raising their PMC percentages into the mid-to-high 90% range.

Our company-wide PMC goal is an average of 90%. The terminals mentioned above have set the standard that will ultimately allow us to meet this lofty goal.

As we work to support all our maintenance teams in meeting the PMC goal, we are excited to celebrate our terminals leading the charge to keep our fleet properly maintained and ensure our drivers stay safe.
