Don Ewalt Retires After 23 Years with Eagle Transport

Don Ewalt, District Manager at Eagle Transport Corporation, is retiring after 23 years of dedicated service.

“This has been an incredible journey for the past 23 years,” Don Ewalt said. “My family and I are eternally grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Stallings, Herb Evans, and Lance Collette for the opportunity to work for this wonderful company. I will always cherish the fond memories and friendships developed while working for Eagle Transport!”

Don started at Eagle in 2000 as a dispatcher in Salisbury, Maryland. Due to his hard work and exceptional leadership skills, he was promoted to Terminal Manager in 2001.

Under his guidance, Eagle experienced steady growth and consistent customer service, which earned Don the respect of his team and customers. This eventually led to his promotion as a District Manager for Eagle’s Eastern Region in 2006.

“Don’s consistent approach to sound operations and respect for all those around him earned the admiration of many,” President and COO Lance Collette said. “Since joining Eagle in 2008, I have witnessed his consistent professionalism and work ethic. While I am sad to see a valuable team member leave our organization, I am excited to see a friend walk into the next chapter of life.”

We are excited to celebrate Don’s many years of service to Eagle, and we wish him all the best as he begins his retirement and enjoys more time to spend with his friends and family.
