First Quarter WOW Award Winners
Timothy "TC" Cannon - Shop Foreman in Salisbury, Maryland

TC was nominated for "a week of time away from your shop to come to the Charlotte terminal and clean and reorganize the supply and stock room for the shop. Parts have been totally relabeled and counted for accuracy. Outstanding show of Eagle teamwork! Thank you for all the hard work and time you put into this long overdue project."
Torrance Culbreath - Driver in North Augusta, South Carolina

Torrance was nominated for "delivering a load in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, March 9, 2024, when he rolled up on a vehicle accident. The woman involved in the accident had two trees fall on her car as she was driving and was panicking on 911, which was causing a major delay in getting the appropriate resources to her. Mr. Culbreath approached the woman to check on her and was able to get the phone from her and give us all the information we needed to get EMS and Fire personnel out to her. Without his compassion and calmness we would not have been able to resolve the issue as quickly as we did. Mr. Culbreath represented Eagle in a good way and showed his true character! Most people would have saw the roadway blocked and try to turn around and find an alternate route. Mr. Culbreath stayed with the woman until helped arrived and then waited patiently for the roadway to be opened up to continue his job. I personally would like to thank Mr. Culbreath for all he did that morning to assist not only the female in distress but also assisting 911! He is the true definition of SOAR!"
Joe Killough - Terminal Manager in North Augusta, South Carolina

Joe was nominated for "bringing on a lot of new hires and always completing the safety training in a complete and timely manner. Thank you, Joe, for all that you do."

Second Quarter WOW Award Winners
Jason Fonseca - Corporate Driver and Driver Trainer

Jason was nominated for "always being patient and very thorough in his training of me. When my training was completed, I started out on my own with 100% confidence that I could do the job and do it well. I also knew that I could reach out to Cajun at ANY time, day or night, if I was unsure about anything or had any questions. He remains someone that I talk to more than once a week as a mentor and as a friend. I can't speak towards any of the company's other trainers, but I can say that if they're all anywhere near as good as Cajun is, then the company has an outstanding training team. He deserves to be recognized for his outstanding training, as well as being an excellent asset to our company."
Sydney Gould - AR/Billing Analyst in Rocky Mount, North Carolina

Sydney was nominated for "not one thing she has done, but for the many contributions she has made to Eagle Transport. Sydney is the definition of team player. Maybe her history as an athlete set the foundation; maybe it's just in her nature, or maybe it's some combination of the two. Either way, Sydney is always there to help in any way she is needed. From day one Sydney realized it's all about doing what's best for Eagle Transport, not doing only what her job title or job description entails. We have yet to find anything she can't do, and I've never seen her flinch when asked to take on a new responsibility. In fact, Sydney often volunteers to take on more to keep other's workload from becoming too burdensome. She truly cares about Eagle and her teammates. Sydney will be instrumental in taking Eagle Transport to new heights, and I, for one, cannot wait to continue watching her SOAR!"
Dottie Chase - Operations Manager in Kingsport, Tennessee

Dottie was nominated for being "an amazing Operations Manager. She goes above and beyond to not only make sure the drivers are taken care of but also the maintenance team; she has really dedicated herself to the job and stepped up to train the new employees taking her position after her promotion as we as performing her task as operations manager, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the Kingsport terminal and also recognizing us in the shop, and coming up with easier ideas to make our jobs more safe and efficient."
Third Quarter WOW Award Winner
Reina Lewis - Dispatcher in Tampa, Florida

Reina was nominated for "finishing her week, and instead of taking her first day off to rest and recover from the busy pre-storm sales, she volunteered to come in and help dispatch the day before the storm. Anyone who has worked any major weather event, which Reina has done many times in Tampa, knows that it is without a doubt the most stressful time in the fuel industry. You get beat up by customers and supply and do everything you can to tread water. It's not a situation that anyone wants to be in, let alone volunteer for, but Reina knew the situation we were in and that the rest of the team could use her help. She said she could help for a few hours, and it turned into an entire shift. Myself, as well as everyone else working today, appreciate her hard work and dedication."
Fourth Quarter WOW Award Winners
Joanna Scott - Call Center Dispatcher in Selma, North Carolina

Her extraordinary commitment to her role is not just evident in times of crisis but is a consistent display of her remarkable work ethic and compassion. She has shown incredible resilience, maintaining composure and efficiency, even under the most challenging circumstances. Her proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile have been a beacon of hope and reassurance to many during the hurricane and everyday issues. We commend you for your unparalleled ability to handle complex situations with grace and for always prioritizing the needs of those you serve. Your dedication sets a powerful example for all, embodying the spirit of excellence and selflessness. Thank you for being an invaluable member of Eagle and for making a lasting difference in the lives of so many!"
Jaime McClellan - Terminal Manager in Kingsport, Tennessee

Jaime was nominated for going "above and beyond her job duties with assisting Houston with an accident while James was out of the office. She helped the team in Houston with getting the info needed and setting up the driver for testing as well as getting him picked up and shuttled back to his home terminal. Jaime is a Team Player and never hesitates when asked for assistance from anyone even when her office is short staffed. She is a remarkable TM and Eagle could use more like her and her commitment to doing what it takes to get the job done."
Pete Palmer - Driver in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Pete (or Rush Palmer, as he is known on Facebook) was nominated for being "one of the most positive members of the Eagle team! I am so thankful for all the kind, uplifting, and positive words he shares on our social media posts. I have also seen him engage very kindly with potential applicants who see his comments and want to know more about working for Eagle. Thank you for being such a positive voice for us whenever you come across one of our posts or ads on Facebook - especially when you don't have to engage with our content at all. I appreciate seeing you take that extra step on almost every post, potentially in your free time when you may not even want to think about work, and I noticed it as soon as I started at Eagle almost three years ago. Thank you!"
Monika Hopp - Dispatcher in Port Everglades, Florida

Monika was nominated for stepping up to serve the multiple locations across her state during a technological disruption. "Tampa’s internet has been down since 1400 this afternoon, and we have no AS/400, email, or web browser. Monika is single-handedly handling Port Everglades, Taft, and Tampa. It’s a big deal to cover all these by yourself."
