Anthony's nominee wrote: "Anthony, you're truly a safety-conscious Eagle team member! You implement the SOAR way of thinking into daily work, as well as teaching trainees to implement it. You have the best attitude about your job and are always willing to go the extra mile to help other drivers when needed. You also follow up with trainees to make sure they're successful once they are released from the training program and help continue training as issues arise in Belton. You're a positive team member, and we're blessed to have you at Eagle in Spartanburg.

Tha Lam - Fleet Service Technician in Richmond, Virginia

Third Quarter 2023 WOW Award Winners

Brian Dunn - Driver in City, State

Brian was nominated for "being one of the most helpful, approachable, kind, and caring drivers and trainers here at Eagle. You are not afraid to go above and beyond to help any fellow driver with issues and ensure that they have the tools necessary to do the job correctly. With your amazing knowledge of our customers and rack procedures, you can always be counted on to provide the best advice."

Randy Proffitt - Driver in Kingsport, Tennessee

Randy was nominated for "making up special kits for drivers in Kingsport. You take pride in your job and always go the extra mile with your professionalism and willingness to help any fellow driver with any issues they may have."

Fourth Quarter 2023 WOW Award Winners

Don Bollinger - Driver in North Augusta, South Carolina

Don was nominated for "always going the extra mile and beyond what is expected of you. We had some contaminated product at one of our customer locations on Sunday, and you came in on your regularly scheduled night off and pumped the product out of the tank. You were there waiting for their maintenance tech to arrive and remove the drop tube so we could pump out the tank as soon as feasibly possible. This enabled us to minimize the time the customer's tank was out of service."

Shannon Gordon - Driver in Nashville, Tennessee

Shannon was nominated for "getting a broom and bleach from the terminal operator and cleaning out the loading booth at the rack. Some drivers throw their trash on the ground, spit, and urinate, which is absolutely disgusting. You took it upon yourself to clean the booth. You take pride in your job and always go the extra mile with your professionalism and willingness to help. They're so proud to call you their fellow coworker and feel you're one of the best drivers they've had the pleasure of working with."

Jeff Laurent - Terminal Manager in Port Everglades, Florida

Jeff was nominated for his schedule management during the holidays. "During the Christmas holiday, you scheduled your dispatching team to allow them to either have the morning with their family or the evening with their family while you covered any holes in the dispatch schedule. That is the true definition of a leader. Being in an industry that operates 24/7, 365, it means a lot to have a leader who does whatever you can to support your team and help them get back home to their families. When team members feel supported and respected by their leaders for their lives beyond their position at Eagle, they can do their jobs better and safer. Thank you, Jeff, for helping your team SOAR!"
