Eagle Transport Corporation has named Bobby Vaughn as the company's new Director of Chemical Operations.
Bobby joined the Eagle team in 2011 as Manager of the terminal in Kingsport, Tennessee. Since then, he has led the start-up of Eagle’s first chemical operation, achieved Responsible Care Management System certification, and championed his team to earn multiple Safe Terminal of the Year awards at Eagle. Under Bobby’s leadership, the Kingsport terminal has also been honored with eleven Eastman Supplier Excellence Program awards.
“With his experience and knowledge of our industry, we’re excited to have Bobby leading Eagle’s Chemical Operations,” VP of Operations Mark Kinsey said. “He will be a great resource for our Terminal Managers managing chemical accounts.”
Prior to joining Eagle, Bobby entered the chemical transportation business as a dispatcher with Younger Brothers in 1994. In 1996, he transitioned to Tidewater Transit as Lead Dispatcher and was promoted to Terminal Manager in 1999.
When Bobby isn’t at the Kingsport terminal, you can find him spending time with his wife and high-school sweetheart, Amy, their three children, and four grandchildren. Bobby is also a professional photographer, capturing photos in his community and at the annual Kingsport Family Picnic.
Join us in congratulating Bobby on his new leadership role with Eagle Transport Corporation!
