Eagle Transport Corporation has three terminals strategically placed throughout North Carolina to serve customers from the mountain regions to the coast. Beyond these terminals, we have five satellite locations across the state, allowing Eagle team members to deliver products beyond the range of our terminal teams.
Charlotte, North Carolina

The 1980s were a time of significant growth at Eagle Transport, with our team entering the Charlotte, North Carolina, market and several others. In the early days of our presence in the Queen City, Vice-Chairman Herb Evans served as a dispatcher and then terminal manager for this location.
In 2005, we built and moved into a new terminal, which is where we still operate. Charlotte has been primarily a petroleum terminal for most of its history, but we have since started hauling jet fuel, dry bulk, and liquid chemicals in the last two years. Today, more than 50 industry professionals are operating out of our Charlotte terminal and regional satellite locations!
Greensboro, North Carolina

Eagle Transport Greensboro started back in the early 1990s out of the Apex terminal and then moved to Burnt Popular Road. Before moving into the Chimney Rock Road location. We are servicing North Carolina and Virginia with petroleum. We are a chemical division that runs powder, pellets, and liquid bulk products throughout the USA daily to meet our customers' demands in a timely manner.
Our fleet of dedicated drivers is always willing to step towards an offer they are given daily. To expand our organization to fill our customers' requests on time with a satisfied delivery each time. With a staff of 30 professional and courteous drivers, we want to have 35 drivers on our staff here. We do a lot of cross-training within our terminal, petroleum to chemical and chemical to petroleum, to obtain a group of versatile drivers within the Greensboro terminal. We strive for growth in this growing industry's petroleum and chemical hauling aspects.
Selma, North Carolina

Selma, NC, is home to the first and largest Eagle Transport team across our footprint. With its prime location along the Colonial Pipeline, our Selma-based drivers serve a broad market, with satellite locations stretching to Apex, NC; Fayetteville, NC; Wilmington, NC; and Myrtle Beach, SC. This once petroleum-focused location now hauls a variety of chemical products as well and has recently begun hauling dry bulk products as we grow that segment of the business.
After more than 50 years of growth, our Selma team now includes almost 150 industry professionals who serve their local community and support the entire Eagle team. Our Selma team also includes our call center, which provides overnight dispatch support to almost all terminals, and our service center, where all Eagle trucks are prepared to join the fleet.
We appreciate you coming along for the ride as we wrap up our terminal spotlight series. If you want to see more about Eagle's history, please check out the history page!
