A History of Eagle Transport in Florida

Eagle Transport Corporation has three terminals strategically located across the state of Florida to serve customers from the panhandle to the Everglades. Beyond our three terminals, we have more than ten satellite locations where Eagle team members operate in small groups to deliver to customers beyond the range of our terminal teams.

Tampa, Florida

Eagle has served the Tampa market for the last 40 years, 15 of which were from our current location on Hartford Street. Our Tampa team hauls petroleum, diesel, ethanol, biofuels, jet fuel, and crude oil, and our Tampa location serves as our overnight call center for this district.

Today, our Tampa team has 103 members serving from the primary terminal or in our satellite cities around the terminal, including 16 active President’s Million Mile Club drivers.

Orlando, Florida

Eagle Transport has operated in Orlando since the late 1980s, pulling out the KM Central Florida Pipeline in Taft. Our drivers are based in Orlando, Cape Canaveral, and the Daytona area, and they have hauled all petroleum products, including ethanol, jet fuel, avgas, and bioproducts, over the years.

This satellite operation is managed and dispatched from our Tampa terminal. We have been fortunate to have many Orlando drivers join the President's Million Mile Club, and we are proud to have such a loyal and dependable group serving this region.

Port Everglades, Florida

For almost 40 years, Eagle has served the Port Everglades region, hauling gas, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol biofuels, and crude oil; in the past, we even hauled propane. Located inside Port Everglades, our team consists of people from all over the world, including Russia, Asia, South America, the Bahamas, all Caribbean countries, and, of course, all over the United States.

Our Port Everglades terminal has over 50 team members serving directly from the terminal or satellite locations in the region.

Jacksonville, Florida

We have operated in Jacksonville, Florida, for 35 years, hauling all petroleum products, including gas, diesel, and jet fuel. Previously, we have hauled chemicals, propane, butane, and ISO containers. From our location in the Jacksonville port, we have a team of almost 50 industry professionals, including many members of the President's Million Mile Club.

Eagle’s Florida teams are some of our oldest and largest. They provide services to one of our largest customer bases and drive significant growth in the petroleum market for Eagle. Our Florida district also provides a positive base for teamwork and inter-company support as we navigate hurricane season each year. Team members from across the Eagle footprint show up to assist impacted terminals each time a storm is headed toward this region, providing opportunities for connections between terminals and helping our team build a greater sense of ownership and connection to their role at Eagle.
